About Priya Kale

Priya Kale was born and raised in Mumbai, India to Sagittarian parents. Her deep fascination with the heavens began at around the age of two, when there was an eclipse in the sky and her father explained its significance to her.

Ever since, every trip to the bookstore would end up with Priya ‘lost’ in the Astrology and Occult section. In 1998 she graduated Art School with a B.F.A in Communication Design in Mumbai, India.

She moved to NYC in 1999 where she has lived and worked for 8 years as a full time Art Director/Graphic Designer — her love for astrology growing stronger all the while. Until her Saturn Return in 2006 when she connected with astrologer Eric Francis (whose horoscopes have been featured on Jonathan Cainer’s site,) after being an avid reader of his Planet Waves Inc. for many years.

From December 2006 until April of 2008 Priya wrote the Daily Astrology Blog at ww.planetwaves.net. Besides helping co-ordinate the Annual Edition of Planet Waves 2007, she was also Managing Editor for the weekly edition of Planet Waves Astrology News and Horoscopes during this period of time.

Since then she has worked on writing projects for Susan Miller and her horoscopes are featured occasionally on Yasmin Boland’s site www.moonology.com as well as Yahoo!7 Australia. She also occasionally fills in for Eric Francis, for his horoscope column on Planet Waves Astrology News.

Since early 2008, Priya has been writing (and managing) her website www.CosmicDiaries.com which has evolved from being a daily Astrology blog, to a website that offers free Monthly Horoscopes and a paid Subscriber service that includes Weekly Horoscopes and Moon Reports.
